12 principles of animation study
We researched about the 12 principles of animation and collected gifs of examples
I first made a after effects animation of a bouncing ball using tweening.
I enjoyed using after effects and felt I was successful at using the graph editor to adjust the animation

I then made a hand drawn animation using adobe animate. I've found the prosses much longer compared to after effects but preferer it due to the fact its more expressive

Using my knowledge of squash and stretch from the bouncing ball animations I tried to create a jumping man animation. I feel I was successful at animating the jump and the cape. I feel it could be improved with more frames

I also experimented with animating a pre rigged character. I have found the method to be very useful as it is much faster however I did not enjoy this process as much as hand animating because I like the freedom of being able to draw a character more in the 3d than flat space

Overall I am happy with the style I used and the backgrounds I made with photoshop however I believe I could of improved this animation if I completed all shots and added more frames
